The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is the leading self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. We are a member-led organisation, governed by an elected Governing Board and driven by a specialist staff team.
We provide our members with a wide range of services to facilitate their practice. We also act for the traditional acupuncture profession as a whole: expanding awareness of traditional acupuncture; establishing and maintaining high professional standards; overseeing and accrediting acupuncture education; funding and promoting evidence-based research; promoting integrated healthcare.
BAcC registered acupuncturists practise all over the UK. To ensure the practitioner treating you is a member, look out for the BAcC logo on their website or use the postcode input box on the right (bottom for mobile users) to find a safe, qualified practitioner in your area.

And don't forget to look out for Acupuncture Awareness Week events taking place in your area, or contact your local practitioner to talk about how traditional acupuncture can work for you.
